summers ago, we lived in Roseville, California and we would swim every single day. This is a picture of Zak and Maddie ready for the daily trip to the pool. Zak would take all his turtles to swim with him. Maddie was so so fat! I love it! I tag Chelle and Marissa.

Going Private

Ok, I hope Michelle doesn't mind I just copied what she wrote on hers but she said it well, and it is time for us too...

We have decided to finally give in and go private. I write things that we want to keep amongst my family and friends and not have the world be able to view it. We have been torn knowing that, that is how people can find you but that also means strangers can too. If you want to be able to view the blog please leave me your email or email it to mine. Today was Lizzie's blessing day! Her daddy gave her such a beautiful blessing! We are so happy and blessed to have her in our family! And thank you to everyone who came to support us on her special day! EVERYONE in the Thomas family was there which is rare - and almost everyone on the Ostler side was there - we were missing Jaime, DJ and Megan. I wish they could have been here. Even Great Grandma & Grandpa Olsen made it! It was such a perfect day for our little Lizzie! I am so grateful that Mat holds the Priesthood and is able to bless our family. What a special day - We love you Lizzie :)

Great Grandma & Grandpa Olsen - Lizzie's actual full name is Elizabeth Ann Thomas which is Great Grandma's best friend's name! My mom was named Margie Ann after her and now Elizabeth has the name too! Grandma was pretty excited about that!

Check us out - we know what Palin and McCain do behind the scenes...Naughty. Dora and Bumblebee showed up as well.

Zak was bumblebee from transformers - STILL OBSESSED. Maddie was Dora - she had hair issues all night long. Lizzie was a horse - random but very cute. Grandma held Lizzie almost all night. She loves her Grandma. Maddie and Zak helped Mat carve the pumpkins and Mat had them squeezing pumpkin guts while chasing each other throughout the house. Another successful Halloween.

6 Random Thoughts

Ok, so I have been tagged a lot lately, but I am finally responding to one! I'm doing the 6 random thoughts one...

1. I am so proud of Mat for losing 22 pounds in about a month! (I won't mention how jealous and annoyed I am that I've been busting my butt and it's going A LOT slower) Oops...I guess I did mention that, but I really am proud of him and he looks GOOD :) And I know it will come off me too eventually.

2. I am so so glad we are having good weather again! We are definitely spending the day outside today!

3. Whitney's baby is so so cute! She was only 6 lbs, I held her and I thought she was going to just blow away in a breeze - she was so small!

4. I HATE hospitals (as much as I love them for saving my life and Zak and Lizzie's lives) but whenever I go in a hospital, I feel panicky and sick the whole time.

5. Maddie is the messiest girl I have ever known in my entire life!

6. Lizzie has such a cute laugh

Timpanogos Cave

We climbed Timpanogos Cave! It was pretty crazy dragging 3 kids up the trail, but we did it! I carried Lizzie in my front carry-pack, Mat carried Maddie most of the way up on his hip & our little trooper, Zak, walked ALL the way up! He is one tough little dude! It was such a pretty hike with all the fall colors & the cave was awesome too!

Fall is Birthday Season for us! Zak had his 4th birthday on October 9th! He had a Transformers Birthday Party! He has been so excited for this birthday because he has been 'shopping online' for his presents for months! He picked out all the Transformers he wanted and made a list for us that we printed out - and he has been waiting ever so patiently for the day to come that he would get them and it FINALLY came! Grandma & Grandpa Thomas came up and celebrated with us! They gave Zak a Transformers Comforter for his bed! Thanks G&G!

Monday, September 29th was Maddie's 2nd birthday! We had a Dora the Explorer birthday party for her - she is so obsessed with Dora right now. That day, we went to McDonalds and got Happy Meals, then we went and picked out pumpkins, then Grandma and Grandpa Ostler came over and we had dinner and cake and ice cream and we painted our pumpkins and opened presents - grandma and grandpa gave her a cute fishy blanket that they made - thanks! We had so much fun, I can't believe that she is 2! She is so much fun and we love her so much! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE!

I don't know who all I told about our spider invasion, or maybe you saw it on the news - about the giant lake spiders invading Saratoga Springs - well, one broke into our house!

But don't worry - we caught it...

and Maddie decided to be friends with it...

then Zak wrestled it to the ground...

and we conquered the spider in the end!

Here is a video of Lizzie smiling. She has been so happy and smiley lately. This still isn't the best of her smiles, but it was all I could get her to do for the camera. She is such a sweet happy baby.

We went to Duchesne this weekend to see Grandma & Grandpa Thomas - it was grandpa's birthday! Happy Birthday! It was our first real outing with Lizzie. We are still trying to avoid anywhere with big crowds, but it's fun to go to grandma & grandpa's. Zak & Maddie got to ride the 4-wheeler. They had lots of fun doing that! And I got some cute close-ups of Lizzie. She is about 4 weeks old now!
